It is the Word — Heraclitus' Logos as the underlying rational structure of reality that most people cannot perceive even though it governs everything. 'In the beginning was the Word' — the creative principle that manifested reality through language. The system's formulation 'The Logos is not the Bios' inverts Korzybski's 'the map is not the territory' — addressing the specific confusion of the Shadow/informational layer with the biological/lived layer. Baudrillard's hyperreality, the simulacra replacing the real — this is what happens when the Logos layer is mistaken for the Bios layer. Magick operates at the Shadow level: the symbol operates below the Egoform's conscious monitoring, in the layer where language and meaning are constructed.
